Greenpeace bags
The Greenpeace banner used to create these bags, was used in their action against VW Car and Van imports into the UK at Sheerness Port... a main hub for vehicle transport on 21st September 2017.
40 activists broke into the vehicle compound, took the keys out of hundreds of cars and climbed lighting towers where they refused to give them back. One team had so many keys (over 80kg!) that they could barely make the climb.
At the same time another team boarded an inbound shipment of VW cars and forced it to turn round back out to sea and hung the same banner off the stern.
The small girl featured on the banner has proven serious respiratory disease caused by vehicle particulate pollution and her parents allowed her image to be used.
Bag sizes are: 40cm x 40cm
Strap length is: 110cm
